Guests of The Arizona Grand Hotel have a place to drop off their kids while they relax at the resort’s spa or golf course.

The “Grand Adventures Kids Club,” a half-day club for kids 5 to 12 years old, is currently open through September. There are daily morning sessions from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and afternoon sessions from 1 to 4:30 p.m. There are various activities during days such as “Monster Monday,” where kids can decorate cups or magnets.

“Kids can meet anyone from around the world and always have a good time,” said Natalie Giaquinto, director of the Grand Adventures Kids Club.

The club offers many opportunities for kids to work on art projects by making shades on “Terrific Tuesday,” hats on “Wild West Wednesday,” decorate cacti on “Fiesta Friday” or make their own sand art on “Sunny Sunday.” There are also outdoor activities and opportunities to get up and move through a freeze dance or “Twister Time.”

Lights snacks are offered during each session. This club is covered by resort fee, and space is limited to 24 children per session. Anyone interested should either call (602) 431-6484 or dial ext. 86484 from a resort phone. In order to ensure a spot, reservations should be made by 5 p.m. the evening before. The club takes place seven days a week in the Sedona Building Adult Pool Cabana at the hotel, located at 8000 S. Arizona Grand Parkway.
