Mountain Pointe asks community to help family affected by June house fire

Mountain Pointe High School Principal Bruce Kipper sent out an email to school families asking to help the Baker family, who lost their home and most of their possessions in June. An account has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank under the The Baker Family Fire Benefit Fund, Account No. 5739785698, or through PayPal on Account No. 37929WMontserrat@gmail.com. Donations can also be made in the front office of the school.

The family needs: Christian, 17, male, size 15 wide shoe, jeans 40/30, shirts XL; Logan, 12, male, size 8 1/2- 9 shoe, jeans 16, shirts 14/16; Chandler, 8, male, size 6 shoe, jeans 8/10, shirts 8/10; Madison, 2 1/2, female, size 9 shoe, 3T-4T.

The family could use a bed for Madison. Also school supplies, backpacks, pens, pencils, etc. for the children. Twin sheets, blankets, comforters, pillows, towels as well as kitchen items; pots, pans, utensils, etc.
