Double Olympic medalist Will Claye has been selected to throw out the first pitch at the Diamondbacks game on Wednesday.

The game is a 12:40 p.m. start against the Cincinnati Reds at Chase Field.

Claye, a December of 2008 Mountain Pointe graduate, won the bronze in the long jump and silver in the triple jump in the London Games last month.

The D-backs have honored several Olympians this year including: Brady Ellison, Breeja Larson, Diana Taurasi and three U.S. Rugby Team Paralympians. More Olympians are expected to be honored at upcoming D-backs games including Olympic silver medalist Brigetta Barrett who will sing the national anthem on Sept. 11.
