Izzy Marshall will be watching from afar. And he most likely won't be alone.

The Mountain Pointe senior linebacker, like everyone else in the program, can't wait to see how teammate Jalen Brown develops over the next three seasons.

"I wouldn't be surprised if every college in the nation is after him," Marshall said. "That

boy can play."

The freshman has been on the varsity level from the start playing wide receiver, safety and even getting time in the return game. He probably will also be on the Pride's varsity basketball team.

Coach Norris Vaughan said he is already as good as any safety he has had in his long and distinguished coaching career. Vaughan has said by the time Brown is a senior he will probably be playing different positions.

Marshall believes regardless of what role Brown ends up in, he will be able to handle it.

Regardless of sport.

"I am excited to see where life after high school will take him cause he is not only a great player, but he is humble, confident and he has natural instincts," he said. "He can handle the rock and he can do it all.

"You are going to be interviewing him a lot."
