The Parent Network, a non-profit education organization, invites 8th grade parents from Tempe Elementary and Kyrene Elementary to a presentation and discussion on the transition to high school on Thursday, Dec. 9 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Tempe Hardy Police Substation at 8201 S. Hardy, Tempe. Tempe Union High School District representatives, along with high school parents, will lead the discussion.
Topics will include information on Honors Classes, the Gifted Program at all TUHSD schools including the Peggy Payne Academy, the registration process, and the International Baccalaureate Program, and Career and Technical programs.
