TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The U.S. Marshals Service tracked down and arrested the so called ‘Manila Bandit' wanted in a string of bank robberies in which a man carries a large manila envelope for holding stolen cash.

Tucson police say they identified and obtained an arrest warrant Dec. 28 for 51-year old Walter Furrh.

Robbery detectives traced Furrh to an Ahwatukee Foothills location and Marshals arrested him Saturday.

Furrh was booked into the Maricopa County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Pima County.

Tucson police said earlier the suspect was wanted for at least four bank robberies from July 2010 to December 2010.
