Tempe police arrested a 17-year-old male who they believe is responsible for three bank robberies in Tempe in April, authorities say.
With help from the U.S. Marshals Service and Silent Witness, officers were able to find the boy, police say.
The suspect allegedly committed three bank robberies in Tempe. The first happened at Chase Bank near Southern Avenue and 48th Street on April 18. The second happened the same day at a Wells Fargo location near Baseline Road and 7th Street.
The third robbery took place on April 24 at the same Chase Bank location.
He wore different clothes each time and fled the scenes on foot, police say.
Police say the investigation is still going on and they’re working to find anyone else who might have been a part of the crimes, they say.
