A carwash will be held Saturday for the family of Kevin Weeks, a Tempe officer who was killed on a Loop 101 on-ramp when his police motorcycle struck construction materials.

Proceeds will go to Weeks’ family and the 100 Club of Arizona, which provides financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters seriously injured or killed in the line of duty.

The carwash will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Chili’s restaurant parking lot at Mill Avenue and University Drive.

Weeks’ family will also be attending the carwash.
