A Maricopa County Superior Court judge has set a trial date for an East Valley mother whose baby has been missing nearly a year.
Elizabeth Johnson is set to go on trial May 9 in Judge Paul McMurdie’s courtroom. The court says the trial is likely to last three weeks.
Johnson was found competent to stand trial in September. She has pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping, child abuse, and custodial interference in the disappearance of her son Gabriel, who was 8 months old when he was last seen in December in San Antonio. Police don’t know whether the boy is alive.
Tempe police say Johnson originally claimed she killed the baby and then later that she gave the child to a couple in San Antonio.

This is an example of how times have changed and mothers arent all good nor are they always looking out for the childs best interest. Im tired of these old school ways in courts and beliefs that mothers are best for the kids over fathers. This mother is horrible!!!
