Tempe residents can participate in an upcoming one-day community project to clean up the city’s neighborhoods, schools and parks.

The Tempe Cares project, which will take place on March 1 beginning at 8 a.m., will focus its efforts on the LoPiano Bosque Habitat located north of the 202 Red Mountain Freeway between College and Mill avenues. The 13-acre site was built in 1993 and is used to educate students on desert habitat and for recreational activities.
