Golfers who hit the links this Sunday at Tempe's Rolling Hills or Ken McDonald golf courses will have a portion of their fees support military families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. The city will honor Patriot Golf Day by donating some of the green fees to the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides post-secondary scholarships for children and spouses of military servicemen and servicewomen killed or disabled while in the military. Also, golfers can donate an extra dollar of their greens fees to fund scholarships.

Patriot Golf Day is the flagship fundraiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation, which has awarded more than 2,100 scholarships to date. To learn more, visit patriotsgolfday.com. For information on Tempe golf courses and tee times, go to www.tempe.gov/golf.
