The 12-member International Care Ministries children’s’ choir will perform in the Valley next week as part of their current North American visit. International Care Ministries is a partner of Feed My Starving Children, which has a packing site in Tempe.

Each child in this ensemble has been nourished with meals from food packed by Valley volunteers in Tempe.

The concert will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday at Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church, 9590 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale. For event information, call (480) 860-1188.

The concert is a “thank you” to the thousands of Feed My Starving Children volunteers and donors in Arizona who have helped packed millions of meals that are shipped to the Philippines. The public is welcome to attend and a free-will offering will be taken.

Feed My Starving Children tackles world hunger by sending volunteer-packed, nutritious meals to nearly 70 countries, where they're used to in orphanages, schools, clinics and other building blocks of healthy communities.
