Tempe police announced Saturday night they have arrested a registered sex offender in a case they say is similar to recent public indecency incidents around the apartment complexes surrounding Arizona State University.
Police say Matthew Marvin Flentge, 43, was seen exposing himself and masturbating in front of a 24-year-old woman in the 1900 block of East University Drive. Officers, responding to a string of recent sexual exposure incidents, had set up surveillance in some of the apartment complexes around ASU.
About 12:20 p.m. Saturday, a man police identify as Flentge exposed and touched himself in front of the woman then fled before police arrived. An officer contacted Flentge as he was walking through the Quadrangles Apartments and discovered the man did not have identification with him. Police say a records check revealed him to be a registered sex offender. Flentge was booked into the Tempe City Jail on one count of indecent exposure, one count of public sexual indecency and one count of failing to carry identification as a sex offender.
Investigators are working to determine whether Flentge may have been involved in any of the previously reported incidents, according to a statement released Saturday night by Tempe police Sgt. Steve Carbajal.

It's easy to stop these jerks & low-lifes. Whenever they expose themselves to anyone, that person just needs to point at their dingle-dorf, laugh out loud, and ask them what they think they can do with the mini-weenie they have there. Just make sure there are a couple of you together when yo do this in case the nut-job gets violent.
