The death of a 64-year-old Tempe woman who was discovered dead inside her home by a caretaker on Friday morning, has been declared a homicide.
Bonnie Raudman died of blunt-force trauma to the head and sharp-force trauma to the neck, according to the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office. The medical examiner conducted an autopsy on Raudman on Monday.
Raudman was found inside her home in the 2700 block of West Minton near 48th Street and Broadway Road about 10:40 a.m. Friday by a caregiver who went to the house to check on her when Raudman’s hospitalized husband voiced concern that he could not get in touch with her.
Officers discovered that Raudman’s gray-blue Hyundai Elantra was stolen from the house, but it was recovered on Saturday, police said. Police recovered the car on Saturday, but are not providing the location at this time.
