Sharpen those hula dancing skills, grab the sunblock and grass skirts, and come out to Tempe Beach Park on March 10-11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Arizona Aloha Festival. Admission is free.
This two-day event brings the feel of the islands to the Mill Avenue District, featuring island foods, a raffle for trips to Hawaii, and more activities for all ages. Island-themed food and goods will also be available, and guests are invited to try the famous Hawaiian “plate lunch,” tropical fruits, island beef stew, Guamanian chicken, and more.
The event will also feature live performances, including storytellers, Tahitian drummers, slack key guitarists, and French Polynesian dancers.
The Aloha Festival is held annually to raise awareness about both Hawaiian and Pacific Islander culture and heritage.
