An appointment is required for all flu shots. The county will start scheduling appointments on Tuesday.

These vaccines are for the seasonal flu, not the H1N1 flu. However, health officials are recommending the seasonal flu shot, according to Tom Schryer, county public health director.

H1N1 vaccines aren't available yet. Pinal County also hasn't yet received children's seasonal flu shots, but will post information on the county's information hotline at 1-866-763-7252 when it is available.

Adult flu vaccines are $15. To schedule an appointment, call 1-888-431-1311.

If you're not able to schedule an appointment, clinics will be available around the county after Oct. 17. For more information, visit www.pinalcountyaz.gov.
