Mesa is hosting a pancake breakfast Saturday for residents of District 1, and Councilman Dave Richins will be available to talk about city issues. The free breakfast event includes representatives from several city departments to provide information on city services.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food donation to help stock shelves at the United Food Bank. The breakfast is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Fire Station 211, 2130 N. Horne.
