The Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Coalition is hosting its annual Family Day Event on March 29 at the Superstition Springs Center.

The coalition hopes to raise awareness about child abuse during April, which is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, by reading the governor’s proclamation to end child abuse and connecting residents with resources and educational materials.

The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the center on 6555 E. Superstition Springs Blvd.
