Those pesky mosquitoes and buzzing bees can be relentless and even a source of fear for some people. With mosquito season in full swing, you can learn how to protect yourself during a free workshop July 27 at Mesa’s Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Road.
David Guerrieri of the Maricopa County Environmental Services Department will hold a workshop from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with facts about bee stings and the West Nile Virus carried by mosquitoes. A question-and-answer session will follow. For more information, call the library at (480) 644-3184.
