You can help out your community during spring training month by patronizing restaurants participating in Mesa United Way’s Dine Out for What Matters program.

A portion of proceeds from the 12 participating restaurants on designated game days will be donated to the Mesa United Way Community Chest, which assists local families in crisis. A variety of eateries have signed up for the days the Chicago Cubs will be playing their games.

For a schedule and list of participating restaurants, go to www.mesaunitedway.org and click the link under “What’s New.”
