Grand Paws Pet Sitting & Grooming Service will take donations for a "Bark Bank" dog food bank from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Shell gas station and car wash at Power and Guadalupe roads in Mesa.
Donations of dry and canned dog food and dog treats will be taken from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Those bringing donations will receive one free, 40-minute pet-sitting visit from Grand Paws and a discount on a car wash that day. Raffles will also be held throughout the day.
Donated pet food and treats will be distributed from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dog food will only be given out during these times, with no questions asked. Supplies will depend on donations received.
