When safety officials in Arizona make the ultimate sacrifice, the 100 Club of Arizona is there to help their families pick up the pieces by providing support when they need it most.
Mesa's Organ Stop Pizza will host an appreciation luncheon 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 24 to honor of the 100 Club of Arizona. During the "Afternoon of Gratitude Musical Luncheon," the community is invited to learn more about the 45-year-old nonprofit and support its efforts.
There will also be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle benefiting the 100 Club.
“As an Arizona business, we wanted to host an event that would help the community connect with the 100 Club, an organization that does so much good for our safety officials and their families,” said Jack Barz, co-owner of Organ Stop Pizza. “This will be a patriotic, community-oriented luncheon that we hope raises awareness and much-appreciated funds for this amazing nonprofit.”
Tickets for the Afternoon of Gratitude Musical Luncheon are now on sale at OrganStopPizza.com for $15 for adults and $10 for kids ages 10 and under. They will be sold for $20 at the door on August 24 if the event is not sold out.
