A Mesa restaurant has raised more than $2,000 for the East Valley Firefighter Charities’ Toys for Tots program.

T.C. Eggington’s celebrated its 25th anniversary by donating $50 for every 25-egg omelet it sold last week; 43 of them were sold, raising $2,150.

“What a tremendous outpouring of support by the community for our organization,” said Bryan Jeffries, president of the East Valley Firefighter Charities. “Our own group of firefighters took two tables last week and really enjoyed being part of the celebration. We plan to use the money raised to support our Toys for Tots program to help bring meaningful holiday gifts to hundreds of underprivileged children in Mesa.”
