Altered Tails Barnhart Clinic introduced itself to the East Valley with a grand opening event in Mesa on Dec. 16.

During the event, the nonprofit clinic provided free spaying and neutering for pit bulls, non-feral cats and Chihuahuas.

Located at 7246 E. Main St. Suite 3 in Mesa, the clinic provides spay and neuter services for $65 for dogs, $35 for cats and $25 for feral cats. Altered Tails also accepts vouchers from Maricopa County’s Spay and Neuter Assistance Program.
