A Mesa man was arrested for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct after he threatened his sibling with a knife at their family home, Mesa police said.
Witnesses and the victim told police that Jason Ryan, 21, threatened his sibling and got into a physical fight with him at their home in the 1200 block of north Mesa Drive, said Det. Steve Berry, Mesa spokesman.
Ryan was struck by a Taser from police after he flung open the front door of a residence and refused to listen to commands or show his hands, Berry said.
Ryan was taken into custody without further incident, Berry said.
