Visitors to Mesa's Celebration of Freedom June 29 are being asked to donate T-shirts to deployed troops overseas.

Festival participate can bring the three-packs of white T-shirts to the festival. Sizes medium to extra large are being requested. Packages From Home, a non-profit organization dedicated to our U.S. service men and women overseas, will be on-site.

“During this time of American traditions and celebration, Packages From Home is excited to participate in the Southwest Ambulance Arizona Celebration of Freedom. Our deployed heroes love getting Packages From Home in the mail and your generous donation of T-Shirts for the Troops will help us to make that happen," Packages From Home Founder Kathleen Lewis said in a press release.

A full list of items to donate can be found at www.PackagesFromHome.org

All guests at the festival will also get an opportunity to draw, color or write a letter to the troops!

The Celebration of Freedom will be held 6 to 11 p.m. June 29 in Downtown Mesa. Fireworks will take place at 9:45 p.m.

The Fourth Annual Southwest Ambulance Arizona Celebration of Freedom will be full of entertainment, classic cars, live music, patriotic displays, family fun, fireworks and much more! More than 50,000 are expected to attend this fun event for people of all ages. For more information, visit http://www.azcelebrationoffreedom.org.
