The Mesa Police Department is looking for two people who allegedly defrauded businesses in Mesa, Chandler and Phoenix throughout November.

According to the department, the two suspects would each hand store employees a $100 bill and ask for change. Once they received the change, the perpetrator would then confuse the counterperson by requesting different denominations and eventually ask for the $100 bill back.

Anyone with information about the suspects should contact the department through the “Submit a Tip” option at CrimeReports.com or by texting 274-627 and begin the message with MESAPD.
