No person should be given a pass for a legal technicality. If she is guilty, she needs to hang but if not, she needs to walk with compensation for her time.

A characteristic of homicide investigations is to be able to challenge one theory of how a homicide occured with another. It's a nature of the work to elicit truth from evidence while the killer lies and basks in the protection of the 5th Amendment.
