Cadet Lt. Col. Alyson M. Egan received the Bronze Patrick Henry Medallion for patriotic achievement and was named East Valley Cadet of the Year.

Cadet Lt. Col. Alyson M. Egan received the Bronze Patrick Henry Medallion for patriotic achievement and was named East Valley Cadet of the Year recently. Alyson is the battalion commander of the Army Junior ROTC unit at Mesa’s Red Mountain High. Her awards were presented by the Military Order of the World Wars.
Alyson has a 4.31 grade-point average. She was awarded a scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh, where she will study biomedical engineering to prepare for a career in medicine.
