The contractor working on the Mesa Drive and Southern Avenue improvements project damaged a Century Link telephone line this afternoon. Service to approximately 2,000 homes and businesses is affected. Crews are working around the clock and repairs are expected to be completed and service restored to all residents and businesses by Friday afternoon.
