Mesa's Child Crisis Center earns $200K grant

Mesa's Child Crisis Center announced this week it received a $200,000 grant from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation. Child Crisis Center is a private, nonprofit agency committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect.

The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation grant will provide endowed support to fund the Child Crisis Center in the areas of infrastructure and program support. The funds will be used to purchase equipment for the Emergency Shelter, which houses 42 children ages, birth through age 11. The grant also will fund two classes and two workshops at the Family Resource Center, as well as a full-time employee to facilitate the newly funded programs.
