Mesa libraries providing substance abuse prevention seminar

Two libraries in Mesa will host five-week substance abuse prevention seminars beginning on May 7.

The free seminars is targeted at parents and caregivers and will teach them about how to speak with children about drugs and alcohol, how to express and control anger in a constructive manner, and how to set guidelines.

The Main Library, located at 64 E. First St., begins its sessions on May 7, while the Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Road, starts on May 8. More information is available by calling (480) 644-3100.
