Do you know why the Mesa School District and every other School District in Arizona can not afford to fund the "S.T.E.M." Education Program ???

It's simple, here.....I'll even do the math part for you > 40,000 Illegal Alien Students in Arizona Schools which cost $7,900.00 per School Year per Illegal Alien Student = $32,000,000.00....yes that's right, Folks......$32 MILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR AND FIGURE THAT THEY WILL BE IN SCHOOL FOR 12 YEARS AND YOU HAVE MORE THAN..... 1/10TH OF A BILLION DOLLARS SPENT ON EDUCATING STUDENTS FROM MEXICO, HONDURAS, EL SALVADOR AND GUATAMALA........AND NOW.....DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT OBAMA, SENATOR JOHN MC CAIN AND SENATOR JEFF FLAKE..... WANT TO GIVE THEM ........"AMNESTY".

In response to Leon, to others it may seem an issue of just educating children. I have worked in schools here for the last 10 years. Many of the Mexican students I have worked with are behind their grade level, and that includes math, so it's not just a language issue. Many also have attendance problems, which causes you to fall behind further. I now work in a high school, and many prefer work over school, and miss classes frequently. Many drop out because school doesn't have any meaning for them, no one "makes" them go, and they rather make $10 somewhere than educate themselves.

My point is, taxpayers are spending millions for an effort that, while logical and humanitarian, often has poor results. If we are to continue in this direction, the rules of the game should change, and that would involve parents valuing education, and more accountability from parents and students, or we are wasting millions.
