Some Mesa water customers may notice “cloudiness” in their water for the next few months, but are being assured that the water is safe.

City of Mesa water customers who reside in the area of Loop 101 to the Eastern Canal/Greenfield Road and south to Baseline Road may see changes in their water until early January 2013.

“Mesa Water is switching from surface water to well water while maintenance is performed at the Val Vista Water Treatment Plant and the Pasadena reservoir,” according to a release. “The release of pressure can cause millions of tiny air bubbles resulting in a cloudy, white or milky appearance in the tap water.”

    Hmmmm...
The water may have a cloudy, white, or milky appearance, but is assured to still be safe? What a joke!
