Mesa Police found a murdered man near the railroad tracks in the area of 1000 S. Center after 11 p.m. Jan. 16.
Officers arrived after they received calls about gunshots, Mesa police said. Once they arrived, they found the body of Matthew D. Hester, 31, with at least one gunshot wound, police said.
No one else was found at the scene and detectives are investigating the incident as a homicide, police said.

6 days AFTER the fact!?? Why do the cops not put this out ASAP, so the public MIGHT be able to help??? It boggles my mind...
