United Food Bank is looking for volunteers to help administer a national study that helps food banks have a greater understanding of hunger and the needs of their communities.
Volunteers must be 18-years-old or order, courteous, outgoing and comfortable speaking with people who receive food boxes. No prior experience is necessary. Training opportunities begin April 2. Ideal volunteers will be available for four-hour shifts for two or more days over the course of the study.
The Hunger in America Study is complied every four years and is the largest study of charitable food assistance in America. The information collected from the study will help United Food Bank and Feeding America to better understand the agencies they work with to provide hunger relief.
