Volunteers are needed for the Fourth Annual Southwest Ambulance Arizona Celebration of Freedom, the state’s “coolest independence festival,” held this year in downtown Mesa on June 29.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of shifts and activities, including event set up/tear down/clean up, assisting with traffic control at the car show, helping manage bounce houses and carnival games, answering questions from the public and more. Shifts are two to three hours long during the hours of 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or 14 if accompanied by a parent or guardian. All volunteers will be given a commemorative t-shirt, snacks and plenty of cool drinks during their volunteer shirts.
