After presenting a number of certificates on and around Flag Day to local businesses for flying “Old Glory” properly, the East Valley Masonic High Twelve Club #765 has expanded its reach to honor more East Valley organizations — all three this time were in Mesa — for their efforts to show respect and honor for the flag.

Recently, club president Frank Alger first vice president George Rusk presented Boeing, Kiva Chiropractic, and Oriental Lodge (Free and Accepted Masons of Arizona) No. 20 with certificates.

Anthony Ham, Boeing’s Mesa site leader and director of operations defense, space and security, Kiva Chiropractic’s Michael W. Utman, D.C., and Oriental Lodge No. 20’s secretary Roy Berggren received the certificates.

The businesses presented with certificates on Flag Day included Berge Ford in Mesa, American Savings Life Insurance in Mesa, The Car Washer in Mesa, Mesa Fire Department, McDonald’s and Fry’s Marketplace.
