Make the holidays bright this year for one of the many animals at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control’s Mesa shelter during the “Miracle on 8th Street” event Saturday.
During the event, shelter dogs who have been waiting more than a month to be adopted will cost $17. All cats and kittens will have a no-cost adoption fee. All adoptable dogs and cats are spayed or neutered and have their vaccinations.
The shelter is located at 2630 W. Eighth St., Mesa.
