The United Food Bank announced it has been selected to receive a $4,000 grant as part of the Restaurant Community Grants program from the Darden Restaurants Foundation.
The donation will enable United Food Bank’s Emergency and Supplemental Food Assistance programs. The grant will directly benefit various kids and emergency food program and help strengthen United Food Bank’s food distribution network.
United Food Bank serves over 51,000 meals per day through a network of 180 partner agencies and 260 food distribution sites throughout the East Valley and Gila, Pinal, and southern Apache and Navajo counties.
