Mesa police are looking for a man who's been going up to apartment patios and exposing himself.
Detectives say they're focusing on the area near Longmore and Southern Avenue in west Mesa.
There are several apartment complexes in the area near Fiesta Mall.
In January 2012, the suspect talked his way a woman's apartment. Police say he was going to sexually assault the woman, but she fought back and scared him away.
Since then, police count seven incidents where he flashed women, even pleasured himself outside their patio doors at various complexes in the same area.
He waited almost a year after the first time, then seven months, then three, then two.
16-year-old Alexis Banegas lives nearby and says her friend was flashed just a week ago walking to Banegas' house.
"She's like, 'Oh my God I saw this guy and he opened his coat to this girl and she ran away,'" Banegas said.
The teen says her friend was traumatized and they were more concerned with calming her down than reporting the incident.
Jen Canard was flashed years ago and knows what an emotional toll it takes.
These latest reports have her on edge.
"That frightens me, that makes me feel anxious," Canard said. "I'm glad I know. Now I'll be more cautious and I'll let my friends know too."
Two victims have been able to provide descriptions to help with police sketches.
Detectives explain the sketches look rather different because the man easily could've changed his hair between victims.
The suspect is described as a thin black male in his 20's, approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet two inches tall with curly dark hair.
