If you’re planning to buy a new car, Mesa United Way encourages you to donate your old car to help people who are still struggling to make ends meet. It’s quick and easy, including same-day pickup, and you can get a sweet tax deduction.
“Thankfully, the economy has started to improve, so a lot of people who’ve been putting off buying a new car are hitting the showrooms,” said Linda Haskell, resource development director for Mesa United Way. “Unfortunately, the recovery hasn’t reached everyone; there are still a lot of people out of work and struggling to make ends meet. By donating your old car to Mesa United Way you can help those folks and also get a tax benefit.”
You also can donate your old boat or RV.
