Allegiant Air announced Thursday it will begin offering nonstop service between Mesa and the San Francisco Bay Area via Oakland International Airport beginning Jan. 18, 2012.
The carrier said it will offer introductory fares to the Bay Area for as low as $49.99 one-way.
"Allegiant is pleased to now serve the East Valley community with additional convenient, nonstop service to Las Vegas, as well as the Bay Area," Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company President, said.
The new flights between Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Oakland International Airport will operate six times weekly. Flight days and times can be found at www.allegiantair.com.
