Mesa’s libraries have started a new program that allows locals to check out bike locks at the four locations.

People visiting the libraries can use their Mesa library card or a photo ID to borrow a bike lock while they are at the library, although the locks have to be returned when they leave.

All four libraries —the Main Library at 64 E. First Street, Dobson Ranch Library at 2425 N. Dobson Road, Red Mountain Library at 635 N. Power Road, and Mesa Express Library at 2055 S. Power Road Suite 1031 — have locks to rent out. Call (480) 644-3100 for more information about the program.
