April is Water Awareness month and to celebrate Mesa is partnering with several statewide water providers to teach residents how to conserve water and be more aware of how they use water.

Mesa will have weekly topics with ways that residents can decrease water usage. Some of these topics include landscaping, finding leaks, draining pools and water efficiency.

Mesa is also participatein the National Mayor’s Challenge, which is a competition between U.S. cities to see who is the most water efficient. Mayor Scott Smith is calling for residents to conserve water, energy and other natural resources.
