Queen Creek set for Mosquito fogging Saturday

Weather conditions, circumstances and time permitting, an area in Queen Creek is scheduled to be fogged midnight Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.

The first area in Queen Creek to be sprayed is from Chandler Heights to Riggs roads and from Crismon to Signal Butte roads. The second area is from Chandler Heights to Riggs roads and from Sossaman to Power roads. The third area in Queen Creek is from Marsh Road to Hunt Highway Empire Boulevard and from Crismon to Ellsworth roads.

In all three cases, area traps captured a large number of mosquitoes, prompting the spraying by Maricopa County’s Environmental Services Department.
