Applications are now available for UnitedHealth HEROES program. UnitedHealthcare and Youth Service America (YSA) are seeking schools and community-based nonprofits that want to fight against childhood obesity.
Grants, up to $1,000 each, will be given to programs that get kids active, get kids serving, or advocate around the issue of obesity. Activities will begin on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 21, and end on Global Youth Service Day in April.
