Classes focus on healthy heart living

The healthy living classes for heart patients will be held this summer in the East Valley. They are presented by Chandler Regional Medical Center’s HEAT Wave committee, made up of registered nurses in cardiology.

Participants will learn ways to improve their lifestyle through weight monitoring, healthy food choices and exercise.

The first class will be held 3 to 4 p.m. June 20 at La Estancia Nursing and Rehab Center, 15810 S. 42nd Street, Phoenix. The second class will be 6 to 7 p.m. July 18 at Chandler Regional Medical Center, 1955 W. Frye Road, Chandler. The final class will be 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 15 at Mercy Gilbert Medical Office Building, 3420 S. Mercy Road.
