ASU Tempe campus hosts suicide prevention walk

An Out of the Darkness Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will be held at Arizona State University, Tempe campus March 31.

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students in the United States, claiming more than 36,500 lives each year. Participation is free, but all walkers are encouraged to raise donations.

The walk begins on Hayden Lawn. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with presentations at 9:30 a.m. and the walk beginning at 10 a.m. To register online, go to www.campuswalks.org. For more information, email ASU Wellness at wellness@asu.edu.
