Phoenix Children’s Hospital, which has a clinic in Mesa, has been ranked among the top 50 children’s hospitals in half of the specialties reported in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals rankings. In the annual survey, the survey ranked in the top 50 for nephrology, neurology/neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology.

Now in its fifth year, the Best Children’s Hospitals list pulls together clinical and operational data from a lengthy survey, completed by the majority of the 177 hospitals asked to participate for the 2011-12 rankings.
